| This is the Pace Academy Ball Field on Warren Road. It was formerly owned by the American Legion until April 2006 and was named after Ben Gilbert, a prominent legionnaire. Oral history is that the ball field was built for and probably by prisoners at the near-by county prison farm on Moores Mill Road.
